With the end date to his seven-year gubernatorial career set for January, Arnold Schwarzenegger seems to be headed back to the movie business.
Sort of.
On Tuesday afternoon, he plans to premiere a pro-environmental video he made alongside filmmaker James Cameron on a website built to oppose California's Prop 23, which seeks rollbacks on various environmental legislation.
According to the governor's office, the video can be viewed at www.stopdirtyenergyprop.com starting at 3 p.m.
Using a Twitter account that now touts more than 1.8 million followers, however, Schwarzenegger was just vague enough about the video project Tuesday to suggest there was a little something more to it.
"Jim Cameron and I are going to announce our project this afternoon with a special screening," wrote @schwarzenegger. "Stay tuned and I'll tweet a web address."
Schwarzenegger even released a photo (right) via Twitter, showing him and Cameron purportedly discussing the project.
Schwarzenegger and Cameron have worked extensively together in the past, with the actor starring in the filmmaker's seminal "Terminator" and subsequent follow-ups, as well as his 1996 action-comedy "True Lies."
In fact, Tom Arnold — who co-starred in the latter movies — has mentioned in several recent press reports that he's been collaborating with Schwarzenegger and Cameron on a "True Lies" sequel.
For his part, Cameron is having a busy day, having earlier announced sequel plans for "Avatar."
