‘Scream Queens’ Cast Picks Who Deserves Most Gruesome Death, Iconic Horror Moments They Want to Recreate (Video)

Emma Roberts, Keke Palmer, Nick Jonas and co-stars reveal their picks to TheWrap at red carpet premiere for Ryan Murphy’s horror-comedy

Fox’s “Scream Queens” will reveal a college Greek system that’s even more cutthroat than real life, and the cast of Ryan Murphy‘s horror-comedy weren’t shy about who they would get rid of and keep around.

“The most gruesome death, I would give to Emma [Roberts’] character Chanel,” Niecy Nash told TheWrap at the show’s premiere event in Los Angeles Monday. “Who would I like to see get saved? Probably Keke [Palmer’s] character Zayday.”

Nash was joined by co-stars Roberts, Palmer, Abigail Breslin, Skyler Samuels, Lea Michele, Nick Jonas and Diego Boneta, among others, along with creator and showrunner Murphy, on the red carpet to talk about who they would like to see killed off, who they would save, and which classic horror movie moment they would like to recreate.

“I wouldn’t say I want to kill anyone,” Roberts replied. “But I think it’d be fun to do some epic fight scenes.”

The show is already set to recreate the “Psycho” shower scene made famous by its star Jamie Lee Curtis’ mother, Janet Leigh, but the “Scream Queens” co-stars have some other ideas about which scenes they’d like to emulate on the show.

“I would probably want to recreate something from ‘Silence of the Lambs,'” Samuels said. “Probably one of the scenes sitting in the cell, talking to Hannibal.”

Roberts picked “The Shining,” if she got to play the Shelley Duvall character, and Palmer also went with a Stephen King adaptation.

“‘It,’ when he’s talking to the little boy from the cellar,” she said. “And he’s like, ‘when you’re down here, you’ll float too.’ I’d love to be the little boy, like ‘Nooo!'”

“Scream Queens” premieres with a two-hour episode on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
