‘Scream Queens’ Scares Up Big Numbers for Fox in Delayed, Digital Viewing

CBS drama “Limitless” also improves by 36 percent in total viewers

Fox hour-long horror comedy “Scream Queens” premiered Tuesday to soft live-plus-same day ratings but has shown serious growth in delayed and digital viewing in the days since.

In Nielsen live-plus-same day ratings, “Scream Queens” grew its total audience by 59 percent from its initial live-plus-same day number of 4 million.

According to Fox, when multiplatform viewing is included, “Scream Queens” grew by 80 percent to a total of 7.3 million total viewers.

A rerun of the premiere Thursday night also drew 2 million viewers.

In video on demand and streaming viewership, the “Scream Queens” premiere outperformed “Empire’s” series premiere in 2014, 1.816 million to 1.748 million.

CBS’ freshman drama “Limitless” reported a 36 percent lift in total viewers in Nielsen live-plus-three numbers, up from 9.9 million in live-plus-same day.
