Shawn Mendes joined James Corden for some “Carpool Karaoke” on Monday night. When the singing stopped, the talk about Justin Bieber’s underwear began.
Mendes declared that he would pay up to $500 for a pair of used Bieber underpants — but he would want them to be really used, like straight from the gym or after some hockey. We think he was joking about all of that?
Either way, the “In My Blood” singer was deadly serious about not wanting a pair of Corden’s boxers or briefs. The Canadian Mendes would pay the same five bills to keep the Brit’s undergarments as far away from him as humanly possible.
Speaking of wardrobe, Mendes underwent some impressive passenger seat costume swaps to illustrate his love of the “Harry Potter” movies and books. Nice deadpanning out of him from the shotgun seat.
Later, he and Corden tried to tempt another car into a road-rage fight. When that (thankfully) didn’t take off, the two pacifists played a little puck. Their respective performances on the ice didn’t quite live up to the standard of the ongoing NHL Stanley Cup Finals. Whatever, this was on CBS, not NBC.
