Discovery Channel has renewed “Shifting Gears With Aaron Kaufman” for a second season, and TheWrap can exclusively report the sophomore run’s Sept. 24 premiere date. We’ve also got your first look at the upcoming season.
This year, “Fast N’ Loud” star Aaron Kaufman and his Arclight Fabrication crew are going to play in the dirt, building a rally car to complete in Washington state.
Readers can get a sense for how terrifying and dangerous that specific form of racing can be via our sneak peek — or you can just take Kaufman’s word for it.
“You go out there and make a mistake, you might come home in a pine box,” he says in the teaser, which is exclusive to TheWrap.

“Shifting Gears” is produced for Discovery Channel by Pilgrim Media Group, with Craig Piligian and Eddie Rohwedder serving as executive producers. For Discovery Channel, Craig Coffman and Todd Lefkowitz are executive producers with Brian Peterson serving as producer. Kaufman also earns an executive producer credit for his efforts.
