‘Simpsons’ Vet Hank Azaria to Voice Fox’s ‘Bordertown’

“Simpsons” vet will play a Border Patrol agent who is just a tad behind the times

Hank Azaria is expanding his relatsionship with Fox.

Azaria, who provides a myriad of voices for Fox’s “The Simpsons,” will voice the lead character for the network’s upcoming animated series “Bordertown,” from “Family Guy” duo Seth MacFarlane and Mark Hentemann.

The series will take a satirical look at the cultural shifts occurring in America, exploring family, politics and everything in between. With a cross-cultural wink, the show centers on two very different families living in a fictional Southwest desert town on the U.S. – Mexico border.

Azaria will provide the voice of Bud Buckwald, a married father of three and a Border Patrol agent who is just a tad behind the times, and feels slightly threatened by the cultural changes transforming his neighborhood.

The voice cast of “Bordertown” also includes Alex Borstein, Missi Pyle, Judah Friedlander, Nicholas Gonzalez and Efren Ramirez.
