After working with Kevin Spacey on “Elvis & Nixon” last year, actress-singer Sky Ferreira is set to reteam with the Oscar winner on Edgar Wright‘s “Baby Driver,” TheWrap has learned.
Ansel Elgort (“The Fault In Our Stars”) stars as a talented getaway driver who is coerced into working for a crime boss (Spacey) and finds himself in over his head.
Sony’s TriStar Pictures will distribute worldwide and co-finance the film with MRC. Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner will produce with Wright’s frequent collaborator Nira Park of Big Talk Productions. “Baby Driver” will cruise into theaters on March 17, 2017.
Ferreira will next be seen opposite Nicolas Cage and Elijah Wood in the crime film “The Trust,” which premieres at SXSW next week. She recently co-starred in Eli Roth‘s “The Green Inferno,” and last month she shot Jessica Manafort’s indie movie “Rosy” with Nat Wolff. Amazon will release “Elvis & Nixon” in April.
Ferreira is represented by WME and Mosaic.
