‘Slice’ Trailer: Chance the Rapper, Zazie Beetz Solve One Hell of a Pizza Murder Mystery (Video)

A24 brings you the story of “a ghost, a werewolf, and a pretty s—-y pizza place”

The first trailer for A24’s horror flick “Slice” has been delivered.

Featuring Chance the Rapper in his film debut and Zazie Beetz looking like her usual badass self, the 1-minute, 17-second trailer teases a “story about a ghost, a werewolf, and a pretty s—ty pizza place.”

In a spooky small town, when a slew of pizza delivery boys are slain on the job, two daring survivors (Beetz and Chance) set out to catch the culprits behind the cryptic crime spree. Looks like they may hit a bump or two along the way, as they find out the pizza delivery place is (spoiler alert!) built on a gateway to hell. Yeah, the joint’s owner, Paul Scheer, can’t believe it either — though apparently he’s been told before.

The film also features Paul Scheer, who runs the cursed pizza shop. He talked about the role and how the film together on our latest “Shoot This Now” podcast, which you can listen on Apple or right here.

Also along for the ride are Rae Gray and “Stranger Things” star Joe Keery, who wonder, “What the f— does that have to do with pizza?”

“Slice” comes from director Austin Vesely, who helmed Chance’s “Sunday Candy” and “Angels” music videos.
