Justin Timberlake Drives Best ‘SNL’ Ratings in 14 Months (Video)

He's admitted to the "5 Timers" hosts club and is congratuated by Paul Simon, Tom Hanks, Steve Martin and others

"Saturday Night Live," with host and musical guest Justin Timberlake, posted its best overnight ratings in 14 months, NBC said Sunday.

It averaged a 5.9/15 in metered-market households, the show's best since Jan. 7, 2012, when Charles Barkley hosted and Kelly Clarkson was the musical guest and got the benefit of a primetime NFL playoff game preceding it.

Timberlake's appearance Saturday night earned him membership in the exclusive — well, kind of — "five-timers club." After his opening monologue, Timberlake was admitted to the lounge, where Paul Simon, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks, Chevy Chase and Alec Baldwin were among those that greeted him. They also took a moment to tease Dan Aykroyd and Martin Short — yes, there was a "Three Amigos" reunion — who are not members.

Candice Bergen, the first female "fiver," reminded Timberlake he'd need to be putting the toilet seat down.
