The thousands of casting directors over at Facebook Twitter are reportedly about to get their wish: Betty White as host of "Saturday Night Live."
An online campaign to have the bubbly and bawdy 88-year-old host the show has paid off, EW.com’s Michael Ausiello reports, and the two sides are close to announcing a date.
But in order that White wouldn’t have to carry the entire 90 minutes alone, she’ll be joined in a "Women of Comedy" episode that could include Molly Shannon, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.
