Ratings: Fox Finishes Last Among Big 4 Broadcast Nets With ‘So You Think You Can Dance’

Telemundo ties it in key demo

NBC’s “American Ninja Warrior” hit a season high in total viewers on Monday, enough to outdo ABC and “Bachelor in Paradise” in that Nielsen metric. What the athletic competition could not do, however, was beat the dating show in ratings among adults 18-49.

Airing just “So You Think You Can Dance,” Fox settled for a fourth-place tie with Telemundo in the demo.

ABC was first in ratings with a 0.9 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 3.9 million, according to preliminary numbers. “Bachelor in Paradise” from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. posted a 1.2/6 and 4.7 million viewers. At 10, “Grand Hotel” got a 0.5/3 and 2.6 million viewers.

NBC was second in ratings with a 0.8/4 and in viewers with 4.4 million. “American Ninja Warrior” from 8-10 averaged a 0.9/4 and 4.8 million viewers. “Dateline” at 10 received a 0.6/3 and 3.4 million viewers.

CBS was third in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 3.5 million, airing all reruns.

Fox and Telemundo tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. Fox was fourth in total viewers with 2.1 million, airing just “So You Think You Can Dance.” Telemundo was fifth with 1.2 million viewers.

Univision was sixth in ratings with a 0.3/2 and in viewers with 1.1 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.2/1 and in viewers with 918,000. “Penn & Teller: Fool Us” at 8 had a 0.3/1 and 1.2 million viewers. At 9, “Whose Line Is It Anyway?” got a 0.2/1 and 815,000 viewers. “I Ship It” at 9:30 settled for a 0.1/1 and 401,000 viewers.
