The “Sons of Anarchy” series finale is now the most-watched episode ever of the FX motorcycle drama, according to Live + 3 Day Nielsen ratings data.
“SOA” pulled in 9.26 million total viewers in its final episode, a high for the series, which wrapped up last week after seven seasons.

In the 18-49 demographic most important to advertisers, the “Sons” series finale drew 6.07 million viewers.
Overall, the seventh and final season of “Sons” was the most-watched season of any series in FX’s 20-year history, averaging 7.54 million total viewers per the delayed-viewing-inclusive metric.

The previous record holder was the show’s Season 6, which grabbed 6.98 million total viewers per episode.
