Overall, the seventh and final season of “Sons” was the most-watched season of any series in FX’s 20-year history, averaging 7.54 million total viewers per the delayed-viewing-inclusive metric.

The previous record holder was the show’s Season 6, which grabbed 6.98 million total viewers per episode.
