Soulja Boy Says He’s ‘Throwing the Fight’ With Chris Brown

Beef-quashing bout will go down in March, rapper says

Planning on putting money down on the upcoming boxing match between rapper Soulja Boy and R&B singer Chris Brown? You might want to put your money on Brown, because Soulja Boy has some insider information.

In a series of tweets about the upcoming beef-quashing match, Soulja Boy declared that he’s “throwing the fight.”

The rapper added that the match will go down in March, with tickets currently on sale.

“YALL KNOW WHAT IM THROWING THE FIGHT,” Soulja Boy tweeted on Tuesday. “THESE N—– TAKING TOO LONG F— THIS S— YOU NEED TICKETS HIT ME IM RUNNING THE SHOW.”

Giving his Caps Lock key a workout worthy of a “Rocky” movie, the rapper continued, “IM RENTING THE VENUE. IM SETTING THE DATE. IM SELLING THE TICKETS. THIS WILL BE A SOULJA BOY PROMOTION. HIT ME FOR TICKETS THEY ON SALE NOW.”

The Road to the Ring began for Soulja Boy and Chris Brown earlier this month, after an upset Brown allegedly threatened Soulja Boy because the rapper liked an Instagram photo of Brown’s ex, Karrueche Tran.

Soulja Boy responded with a video posted to Twitter, in which he told Brown he would “beat the f— out of you.”

“”Chris Brown, you a b—- n—-. When I see you, I’ma beat the f— out you, n—-. You think you hard because you hit Rihanna, n—-? Because you beat Rihanna up,n—-? Do that s— to me, p—- ass n—-.”

The rapper added Tuesday that he will “give an interview on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live'” about the upcoming fight, among other topics.
