‘Clueless’ Star Stacey Dash Blasts Oprah Over Trayvon Martin, Obama Remarks: ‘Shame On You’

The actress takes issue with comparisons to the death of Emmett Till

Former “Clueless” actress Stacey Dash has some choice words for Oprah Winfrey.

“Shame on you, Oprah” she tweeted, after taking Winfrey to task for her comments last week in which she compared Trayvon Martin’s death to that of Emmett Till, an African-American boy who was murdered in Mississippi in 1955 at the age of 14 after flirting with a white woman.

Dash, an outspoken conservative who frequently makes political comments on Twitter, linked to a Fox News Insider commentary slamming Winfrey for her comments on Martin, as well as some she made about President Obama.

Dash tweeted a quote from Malcolm X with her post:

“'If you aren’t careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed and loving the people who are doing the oppressing.” ~ Malcolm X.”

The Fox News commentary also criticized Winfrey for her comments about the possibility of President Obama doing a cameo in the her new movie "Lee Daniels' The Butler."

"That’s why Obama is our president, because he knows not to go and get himself in a movie and be on Fox News every day," it quoted her as saying.

Winfrey has yet to respond to Dash’s comments.

Dash most recently starred in the 2011 VH1 series “Single Ladies” and was in a recent episode of the TV Land series “The Exes.”
