Game 4 of NBC’s Stanley Cup Finals iced out Fox’s “So You Think You Can Dance” season premiere, and skated alongside ABC’s “Bachelorette” on Monday.

NBC topped primetime outright, ABC was runner-up. The “SYTYCD” start matched last year’s comparable rating among adults 18-49, tying an all-time low. This summer’s kickoff fell 17% to set a new premiere low in total viewers.

Due to the nature of live sports, the below fast-national Nielsen numbers for NBC should be considered subject to significant adjustment. That said, they should only go up.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.4 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and in total viewers with an average of 5 million, according to preliminary numbers. That was all Game 4, where the St. Louis Blues tied their series against the Boston Bruins 2-2.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.2/6 and in viewers with 4.8 million. “The Bachelorette” from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. averaged a 1.5/7 and 5.5 million viewers. A rerun followed.

CBS and Telemundo tied for fourth in ratings, both with a 0.5. CBS had a 3 share, Telemundo got a 2. CBS was third in total viewers with 4.5 million, Telemundo was fifth with 1.3 million.
