“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” stormed into Hollywood on Monday evening, with one of the biggest movie premieres ever.
The massive gathering took place at not one, or two, but three separate movie houses along Hollywood Boulevard — the Dolby Theatre — home of the Oscars — El Capitan Theatre and the TCL Chinese Theater.
The massive arrivals line started at 4 p.m. PT, with a parade of Stormtroopers marching down the red carpet. Screenings of the film were set to begin at 6:30 p.m. But with the premiere bringing unprecedented street closures to Hollywood — even more than the Oscars — we hope all the key players were able to make it on time.
“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” arrives in theaters on Friday.
