Stephen Amell’s ‘Arrow’ Season 4 Suit Revealed (Photo)

New costume for DC superhero plus sizzle reel teasing new season unveiled at San Diego Comic-Con

Stephen Amell will look a bit different when “Arrow” returns for Season 4 on The CW in the fall.

As revealed in front of a screaming Hall H crowd at the San Diego Comic Con Saturday night, Amell’s Oliver Queen will be wearing a different costume when he resumes his crime-fighting duties in Starling City.

In the image (above), Amell is seen sporting a new suit after the events of the Season 3 finale, which saw him hang up his vigilante moniker of The Arrow and leave the city to travel to destinations unknown with Felicity Smoak (Emily Bett Rickards).

But of course he returns and seems closer than ever to becoming the Green Arrow that DC comic book fans are familiar with.

The new Arrow suit was designed by the show’s costume designer Maya Mani, who has also designed many of the show’s other suits — including those of Arsenal (Colton Haynes), Black Canary (Katie Cassidy), Speedy (Willa Holland) and Ray Palmer’s A.T.O.M. (Brandon Routh).

“Warner Bros. Television Presents A Night of DC Entertainment,” a three-hour special Comic-Con event in Hall H, featured a full pilot screening of CBS’ new “Supergirl,” along with panels featuring stars and producers of “Arrow,” “The Flash,” “Gotham” and “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” as well as a sneak peek at new digital series “Vixen.”

“Arrow” returns for Season 4 on Wednesday, Oct. 7 at 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
