Like a high school kid on his way out, President Obama is suffering from a severe case of Senioritis, Stephen Colbert opined on Tuesday’s “Colbert Report.”
“He is doing something far worse than destroying America,” Colbert said. “He is slacking off at destroying America.”
Cue the obligatory Fox News clips, with talking heads criticizing the president for vacationing, fund-raising and appreciating the arts with foreign leaders. Colbert mockingly mimicked those sentiments in perfect character.

The “Report” host closed his opening segment on a highly personal rant about a time he didn’t score with a sure thing abroad named Bridget. Somehow it related back to his main point: Obama is lazy and it’s time to “hit the books.”
“Let’s face it: You only have two years left until graduation and you are looking at an ‘F’ in Econ,” the incoming “Late Show” host concluded.
