Breitbart chairman and former White House counselor Steve Bannon is returning to SirusXM’s Patriot channel, the satellite radio network announced Tuesday.

Bannon will be joining Breitbart Editor in Chief Alexander Marlowe as a regular host on the channel and Breitbart News will add a new daily weeknight show as well as additional weeknight programming.

Bannon, who advised Donald Trump’s successful presidential campaign last year and then served as a White House strategist before stepping down in August, is expected to lead the Patriot channel’s coverage of next year’s mid-term elections, as well as the 2020 presidential campaign.

He previously hosted  SiriusXM’s “Breitbart News Daily,” which premiered in late 2015 and became a frequent stop for GOP candidates seeking the 2016 nomination.

“As I have said all along, everything I brought to the Trump campaign came directly from the listeners I spoke with every morning on Breitbart News Daily on SiriusXM’s Patriot channel,” Bannon said in a statement. “From the moment I left the White House, getting back behind the microphone was very important to me. To get on the road outside the Beltway and to spend time with the great men and women of America is an honor.”
