"iSteve," a biopic satire starring Justin Long as Steve Jobs, was released by Funny or Die on Wednesday after being delayed two days due to the Boston Marathon bombings on Monday.

The 79-minute movie — the comedy website's longest to date — was written by director Ryan Perez in just three days and produced in five. Perez told the New York Times in March that it is intended to be a "very silly" overview of Jobs' "whole life."

“In true Internet fashion, it’s not based on very thorough research – essentially a cursory look at the Steve Jobs Wikipedia page,” Perez said. “It’s very silly. But it looks at his whole life.”

The not-so-serious look at the deceased Apple co-founder's life has the jump on two other upcoming films centering on the subject. "jOBS," which stars Ashton Kutcher as the titular tech pioneer, premiered at Sundance in January and was set for an April 19 release until distributor Open Road Films postponed it for marketing reasons.

The second release comes from Sony, which acquired the rights to Walter Isaacson’s biography "Steve Jobs" and hired "Newsroom" creator Aaron Sorkin to write the adapted screenplay. No release date has been set for the still-untitled biopic.

So while the world anxiously awaits a serious look at the life of one of the most influential entrepreneurs of our time, Funny or Die has provided "iSteve." The satire also stars Jorge Garcia ("Lost") as Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, with James Urbaniak as Bill Gates and Michaela Watkins as Melinda Gates.
