Steven and Dayna Bochco will be hosting a $500-per-person reception for Hillary Clinton’s campaign in Pacific Palisades on Sept. 19, and California Senator with Barbara Boxer will serve as the featured speaker, TheWrap has learned.
Clinton is not expected to attend the event.
The invitation (see below), obtained by TheWrap, notes two different contribution levels: $500 donation for “friends” and a $1000 donation option for those “champions” feeling more generous.
The invite also specifies that “contributions of gifts are not tax deductible.”
On Monday, former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa, who served on Clinton’s last presidential campaign, hosted a $100-per-person fundraising event for Hillary, who was not present.
This isn’t the first time the Bochcos have hosted a Clinton gathering. In May, the couple hosted one of the first fundraisers for her 2016 campaign in Los Angeles.
