‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin Makes Two Dudes Fight in a Pit on ‘Broken Skull Challenge’ (Exclusive Video)

CMT series just premiered its third season to record ratings, and that’s the bottom line

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin may no longer appear in the squared circle, but the WWE legend is staying in the fight game any way he can.

On this weekend’s episode of his CMT series “Broken Skull Challenge,” the Rattlesnake referees a little “trench warfare” between Khurtis Maasch (Age 26, 6 ft. 5 in., 225 lbs.), the biggest dude there, and Dustin Sherer (Age 27, 6 ft. 3 in., 235 lbs.), who may be the craziest.

In the above clip, which is exclusive to TheWrap, Dustin promises “Intensity, an explosion, and VIOLENCE!”

The Season 3 premiere of CMT’s “Steve Austin‘s Broken Skull Challenge” notched the highest-rated premiere in series history, landing a 0.46 rating in the key 18-49 demographic. Nearly two million total viewers tuned in, thanks to the benefit of three-day delayed viewing.

Among men of that age group, the number was predictably higher, with the cable channel hauling in a 0.51 rating.

Watch the video above — because Stone Cold said so.

New episodes of “Broken Skull Challenge” air Sundays at 8 p.m. ET on CMT.
