Hashim Pew, the son of “Storage Wars: Miami” star Kevin Pew, has been arrested for homicide following a fatal shooting at a viewing party for the show, TheWrap has learned.

Hashim, 23, shot and killed family friend Janel Hamilton, 19, on Oct. 13 using a .45 caliber handgun, according to a statement from the Pembroke Pines Police Department. The weapon was identified as one stolen during a vehicle burglary in 2008.

Hamilton was visiting from London and staying with the Pews. During a viewing party for “Storage Wars: Miami,” she left the room to get a blanket when suddenly others in the house heard a gunshot.

They ran to the room and found Hamilton lying on the floor. Hashim then allegedly fired another shot at her and said, “She’s dead as f–k, dawg,” according to TMZ.

Kevin then wrestled his son to the ground and restrained him until police arrived. Hashim has been charged with first degree murder.

Representatives for A&E did not immediately return TheWrap’s request for comment.
