Stormy Daniels’ Attorney Calls ‘#BS’ on Trump and Cohen

“They expect people to believe that MC paid my client $130k immediately after she demanded it,” Michael Avenatti says about president’s lawyer

Michael Cohen claims he paid porn star Stormy Daniels $130,000 for her silence about her affair with Donald Trump.

Stormy Daniels’ lawyer, Michael Avenatti, is calling out the president and his personal attorney, Michael Cohen, saying their explanation for why they paid the adult film actress $130,000 is “#BS.”

On Monday, White House spokesperson Raj Shah dismissed the idea that Cohen’s payment was a tacit admission of guilt, saying that “false charges are settled out of court all the time.

“MC and DJT pride themselves on being ‘tough guy’ negotiators who don’t simply roll over because someone demands it,” Avenatti tweeted Tuesday. “But here, they expect people to believe that MC paid my client $130k immediately after she demanded it, even though they knew all along she was lying. #BS #basta.”

Daniels — whose legal name is Stephanie Clifford – told “60 Minutes” Sunday that she had once sex with Trump in 2006 at Trump’s Lake Tahoe hotel suite.

Daniels also said that she was threatened by a mystery man in a Las Vegas parking lot as she held her infant daughter after news of the tryst surfaced.

Neither the White House nor Cohen immediately responded to TheWrap’s request for comment.
