‘Suits’ Season 8: Amanda Schull Promoted to Series Regular

“12 Monkeys” alum plays junior partner Katrina Bennett

Amanda Schull has been promoted to series regular in Season 8 of USA’s “Suits,” the network said Wednesday.

The “12 Monkeys” alum has appeared in several seasons of the legal drama and plays Katrina Bennett, a former associate of Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman) who returns to the firm as a junior partner.

Schull joins recently added series regular Katherine Heigl, who plays Samantha Wheeler, and stars Gabriel Macht as Harvey Specter, Sarah Rafferty as Donna Paulsen, Dulé Hill as Alex Williams and Hoffman as Louis Litt.

“Suits,” which comes from Universal Cable Productions, is executive produced by creator Aaron Korsh along with Doug Liman, David Bartis and Gene Klein of Hypnotic. Genevieve Sparling, Ethan Drogin and Christopher Misiano also executive produce.

Schull’s recent credits include SYFY’s “12 Monkeys,” which has its final season later this year, and the movie “Devil’s Gate” opposite Milo Ventimiglia. She’s also appeared in “One Tree Hill,” “Pretty Little Liars,” the Hallmark Channel movie “Love, Once, and Always,” and “Center Stage.”
