Former Sumner Redstone girlfriend Manuela Herzer has filed a lawsuit against the billionaire’s family and medical team, seeking at least $70 million in damages on top of legal fees.
Herzer named Shari Redstone and sons Tyler and Brandon Korff, Sumner’s house manager Isileli Tuanaki and lead nurse Jeremy Jagiello in the suit, which alleges the group conspired to cut her out of the 92-year-old’s estate.
“Shari organized and implemented what would eventually become a successful campaign to turn Sumner against Herzer and strip Herzer not only of her role as his health care agent, but also of her inheritance,” documents obtained by TheWrap said.
The suit seeks to hold “Shari and her henchmen” responsible for what Herzer called “criminal acts in intentionally destroying [her] special relationship with Sumner and causing Sumner to disinherit her.”
The new charges were filed almost immediately after a previous lawsuit brought by Herzer was dismissed on Monday, one debating the mental competency of Redstone after she was removed as his caretaker by his daughter Shari.
