Sunday morning news shows are dominated by white male conservatives, but it's getting slightly better, according to a recent study from Media Matters.
The report tracked Sunday morning news shows on both broadcast and cable networks over the past six months. White men, it said, were far more likely to appear than white women or minorities of either gender across the board — though MSNBC's "Melissa Harris-Perry" stood out for its higher percentage of male and female African-American guests.

The good news, Media Matters said, was that there was a "slight trend" toward better gender and ethnic representation on the shows between the first and second quarters of this year, especially on MSNBC.
Perhaps unsurprisingly, conversatives also dominated Fox News' guests, but they were also more represented than liberals on CBS's "Face the Nation" and NBC's "Meet the Press."
