Ratings: ‘Taken’ Season Finale Stays Steady With Prior Week

Host network NBC tops Monday’s key demo thanks to “The Voice”

NBC topped Monday’s TV ratings in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic, while ABC claimed a total-viewer victory.

“The Voice” led the way for the former, while “Dancing With the Stars” carried the torch for the Disney-owned broadcaster.

NBC’s “Taken” season finale at 10 o’clock stayed steady with last week’s modest Nielsen numbers.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.4 rating/5 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 7.4 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. earned a 1.7/6 and 8.8 million viewers. Afterward, “Taken” had a 0.8/3 and 4.5 million viewers.

ABC was second in ratings with a 1.2/5 and first in viewers with 7.7 million. “DWTS” at 8 landed a 1.6/6 and 10.1 million viewers. “Quantico” at 10 got a 0.6/2 and 2.9 million viewers.

CBS and Fox tied for third in ratings, both with a 1.0/4. CBS was third in total viewers with 5.8 million, Fox was fourth with 3.2 million.

For CBS, “Kevin Can Wait” at 8 received a 1.2/5 and 6.2 million viewers. At 8:30, “Man With a Plan” had a 0.9/4 and 5.3 million viewers. “Superior Donuts” at 9 got a 0.9/3 and 5.2 million viewers. “The Great Indoors” at 9:30 garnered a 0.8/3 and 4.1 million viewers. “Scorpion” at 10 closed primetime to a 1.0/4 and 6.9 million viewers.

For Fox, “Gotham” at 8 kicked off prime with a 1.0/4 and 2.9 million viewers. At 9, “Lucifer” finished it off to the same rating and share, but a boost in overall eyeballs with 3.4 million viewers.

Univision was fifth in ratings with a 0.6/2 and in viewers with 1.7 million.

Telemundo was sixth in ratings with a 0.5/2 and in viewers with 1.2 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.4/1 and in viewers with 1.3 million. “Supergirl” at 8 managed a 0.5/2 and 1.7 million viewers. At 9, “Jane The Virgin” settled for a 0.2/1 and 806,000 viewers.
