Taraji P Henson Reads Men’s Minds in ‘What Men Want’ Red Band Trailer (Video)

Film also stars Tracy Morgan, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Aldis Hodge, Max Greenfield, Pete Davidson and Jason Jones

Paramount has released a new red band trailer for Taraji P. Henson’s “What Men Want,” in which the actress can read men’s minds.

In “What Men Want,” which is a reimagining of 2000’s Mel Gibson movie “What Women Want,” Henson’s Ali gets passed over for a well-deserved promotion at work. Yeah, a dude made partner at their sports agency firm instead.

She then drinks a mysterious tea and bumps her head, only to wake up and be able to hear men’s thoughts.

“What Men Want” also stars Tracy Morgan, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Aldis Hodge, Max Greenfield, Pete Davidson and Jason Jones. Per the official preview, moviegoers can also expect to see plenty of sports stars making cameos, like Shaquille O’Neal, Grant Hill and Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban.

Adam Shankman is directing, while Chris Spain and Jon Zack wrote the screenplay. Henson executive produced alongside David McFadzean, Dete Meserve, Amy Sayres, Matt Williams and SHankman. Will Packer and James Lopez produced.

“What Men Want” will hit theaters on Feb. 8, 2019.
