Lionsgate has released the first teaser trailer for “Robin Hood,” starring Taron Egerton, Jamie Foxx and Ben Mendelsohn.
In the trailer, Robin Hood returns from the Crusades to Sherwood Forest and finds it filled with corruption and evil, and he takes matters into his own hands with his band of outlaws to set things right.
“He’s got our commoners looking up, seeing hope,” someone says in the trailer.
Otto Bathurst directs this dark take of “Robin Hood,” which was written by Joby Harold. Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson Killoran, Basil Iwanyk, Tory Tunnell and Harold producer.
“He’s all of us,” Robin Hood is described as in the trailer.
“Robin Hood” will hit theaters on Nov. 21.
