Tarses Extends Deal at Sony Pictures TV

“Hawthorne” producer has four pilots in the works

Jamie Tarses will be staying with Sony Pictures Television a little longer, TheWrap has confirmed. Tarses has extended her production deal for another two years after overseeing such hits as TNT’s nurse drama "Hawthorne" and TBS’ female sports columnist sitcom "My Boys."

She is also working on four pilots with the studio for ABC, TBS, and CBS.

Tarses is best known for her stint as head of ABC’s entertainment division from 1996-1999, She was the first woman to hold such a post at an American broadcasting network.
