Taylor Swift might have dressed as Deadpool for Halloween, but it turns out she’s also been disguised on another front.

The “Shake it Off” singer was revealed as the writer of Little Big Town song “Better Man” on Tuesday, removing a big question mark surrounding the tune.

Previously, the group would only say that the newly released single was penned by “a young girl in Nashville.” However, during a press conference at Ryman Auditorium, the group confirmed Swift as the author, with LBT member Karen Fairchild saying that the identity of the songwriter was kept under wraps to prevent the public’s perception of the tune from being tainted.

“We didn’t want you to have any subtext there other than to hear the song,” Fairchild said, according to Rolling Stone.

Swift herself confirmed via Twitter on Tuesday that she wrote “Better Man,” tweeting, “Feeling really honored that a band I’ve loved for so many years decided to record this song I wrote.”

Swift has written material recorded by other artists in the past. Notably, she secretly penned “This Is What You Came For,” recorded by her ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris. However, Swift abandoned the alias Nils Sjoberg, to whom the song was credited, and revealed herself to be its author following her breakup with Harris.
