Got $100 to spare? Plop it down on Jimmy Kimmel to beat Sen. Ted Cruz in the so-called “Blobfish Basketball Classic” — you could walk away with $160 in profit.

The Texas senator is favored to beat the “Jimmy Kimmel Liv!e” host in their upcoming one-on-one basketball game, per sports book Bovada.

Las Vegas is begging you to take the ABC personality at 8/5 odds.

Cruz is listed at -220 or 5/11, which basically means to win $100 you have to plunk down $220. (And obviously, Cruz would have to prevail.)

At 5’10” to Kimmel’s 6′, perhaps that is not a good enough payout for low-stakes prop betting. Cruz, who is three years younger than Kimmel, appears to have the girth advantage, which helps out in the paint. Plus, Cruz played varsity basketball in high school, which is about the same time Kimmel was mostly tooling around on his clarinet.

Either way, Kimmel has already guaranteed victory:

But don’t let us (or Jimmy) tell you what to do. May the (below) odds be ever in your favor.

Who will win the 2018 Blobfish Basketball Classic?
Ted Cruz                       -220     (5/11)
Jimmy Kimmel              +160     (8/5)

The game is happening this weekend, so place your bets now.
