Universal's “Ted” is about to become the highest-grossing R-rated comedy ever at the international box office.

Seth MacFarlane's comedy about a young man (Mark Wahlberg) and his trash-talking teddy bear hit $327 million at the international box office this weekend, matching the 2011 Warner Bros. hit “Hangover 2” and will pass it sometime today.

Despite launching abroad back in July of last year, “Ted” is still ticking. It took in another $1 million in Japan this weekend to raise its overall gross there to nearly $42 million. That's the second-most lucrative foreign market for “Ted,” behind only the U.K., where it has taken in $48 million. Next are Australia with $35 million and Germany at $31 million.

“Ted” has taken in roughly $218 at the domestic box office and has a worldwide total of about $546 million.
