MTV’s Season 4 “Teen Wolf” finale nabbed 1.5 million total viewers at 10 p.m. on Monday night, a lower-than-usual number.

In the music channel’s key 18-34 demographic, the season-ender earned a 1.6 rating, making it the No. 1 original cable series in the demo last night, MTV said.

“Teen Wolf” was also Monday’s most social TV series, they added.

It’s too early to compare Monday’s episode to the live-plus-three Season 4 averages that MTV offered, which came to a 2.3 demo rating and 2.6 million total viewers. We’ll see what kind of lift the popular show gets over the next few days of delayed viewing.

However, June’s Season 4 premiere earned a more-impressive 1.9 demo rating and 2.2 million viewers. And the Season 3 finale in March had a 2.0 rating and 2.3 million viewers.
