“The Code” should’ve stayed behind “NCIS.” On Monday, in its actual time-period premiere following “Man With a Plan,” the CBS drama shed 46% of last Tuesday’s series debut viewers.

NBC won primetime last night with the Cross Battles round of “The Voice.” ABC and Fox tied for second-place among adults 18-49, though CBS split up those two networks in terms of total viewers.

“The Code” skipped last Monday for two reasons: First, that “NCIS” boost. Second, CBS aired the NCAA National Championship seven nights ago.
