Disney+ has revealed the first poster for its upcoming live-action “Star Wars” series, “The Mandalorian,” giving eager fans of the saga a look at what Jon Favreau has in store for them when the show launches with the streaming service in November.

The new promo art for the show was unveiled Friday ahead of Disney’s D23 Expo in Anaheim, California, where even more details about the series — which follows a Boba Fett-like bounty hunter (Pedro Pascal) in the time period between “Return of the Jedi” and “The Force Awakens” — and the streaming service it will be housed on, are expected to be revealed.

In case you haven’t heard, Disney is preparing the launch of Disney+, its own streaming competitor to challenge Netflix and Amazon. The upcoming platform will be available beginning Nov. 12 for $6.99 a month (or as part of a $12.99 bundle with Hulu and ESPN+).

Along with being the home of its own vast library of content, Disney+ will feature original “Star Wars,” Marvel Studios, Pixar, National Geographic and Disney productions.

See “The Mandalorian” poster below and check here throughout the day for more of TheWrap’s D23 coverage.

“The Mandalorian” will premiere Nov. 12 on Disney+, the same day the streaming service launches.
