Sparks are flying between “The Masked Singer” judge Robin Thicke and contestant Kitty on Wednesday’s episode of the Fox singing competition, which will feature the final four contestants in Group B duking it out to see which three move on to Season 3’s “Super Nine” finals.
The hour will also include a special moment where Kitty gives Thicke a beaded friendship bracelet that gives him all the feels — and gives us a clue as to her real identity.
In TheWrap’s exclusive clip from the episode, which you can view via the video above, Kitty offers the piece of jewelry to the “Blurred Lines” singer, who notices that it’s inscribed with the word “Fireworks.” Hm… what could that mean?
Yeah, OK, that clue is enough to make Thicke and his fellow “Masked Singer” panelists Ken Jeong (who is upset the bracelet wasn’t presented to him, by the way), Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger think that singer Katy Perry might be the one underneath the Kitty mask. And the fact that Kitty chose to give her bracelet to Robin is enough to put him in “full blush.” Aww.
Here’s Fox’s description for tomorrow’s episode of “The Masked Singer,” which is titled “Friends in High Places”:
Season one winner T-Pain (“Monster”) returns to “The Masked Singer” as Group B competes for a spot in the “Super Nine.” Host Nick Cannon and panelists Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke dive into the clues and make their guesses for the celebrity singers performing under their masks. Season Three contestants have amassed a combined 69 Grammy Nominations, 88 Gold Records, 11 Super Bowl appearances, three stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, more than 160 tattoos and one title in the Guinness Book of World Records. One singer will be unmasked in the all-new episode.
“The Masked Singer” airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Fox.
