‘The Match': Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson Set $200,000 Side Bet for First Hole (Video)

Drop in the bucket for $9 million round

Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are playing a single round of golf on Black Friday for $9 million. On top of that huge winner-take-all purse, the two have set up their first side bet, and it’s worth $200,000.

Mickelson so believes he’ll birdie Hole 1, he bet Woods $100,000 of his own money. Never one to back down from provocation, Woods told him to “double it.”

Challenge accepted.
