‘The Peanuts Movie’ Trailer: Charlie Brown Needs a Miracle (Video)

Film adaptation of popular comic strip debuts Nov. 6

In a new “Peanuts Movie” trailer released Tuesday, Charlie Brown needs serious help if he’s going to impress the new girl in school.

The perpetual underdog receives that help from his own dog, Snoopy, who pushes Charlie to be himself, all while the animated canine is fighting his own battle against his arch-nemesis, the Red Baron.

Based on the classic comic strip by Charles M. Schulz, the film features the voices of young actors like Noah Schnapp, Hadley Belle Miller, and Alexander Garfin. Steve Martino directed, with Cornelius Uliano, Bryan Schulz, and Craig Schulz writing the screenplay. The three writers also served as producers alongside Michael J. Travers and Paul Feig.

The film is a production of Blue Sky Studios, Peanuts Worldwide, and Twentieth Century Fox Animation.

“The Peanuts Movie” opens in theaters Nov. 6.
