Elisha Henig has been cast as a series regular in Season 2 of USA’s “The Sinner,” the network said Tuesday.

The “Alex, Inc.” alum will play Julian, who is described as “a bright but peculiar young boy on the brink of adolescence who is from a sheltered, unconventional background and is now thrust into the outside world.”

Carrie Coon has already been cast in the lead role of Vera, a mysterious woman who struggles between leading her community and fulfilling her own desires. Natalie Paul (“The Deuce”) will play detective-in-training Heather and Hannah Gross (“Mindhunters”) will play Heather’s high school best friend, Marin, who disappeared years ago.

Jessica Biel, who starred in Season 1, will continue to executive produce along with Derek Simonds, Charlie Gogolak, Michelle Purple, Brad Winters and John Coles. Season 2 is set to premiere this August.
Henig’s recent credits include “Mr. Robot,” “Colony,” “American Vandal,” “MacGyver,” “Transparent,” “School of Rock,” and “Grey’s Anatomy.” He is set to appear in the upcoming movie “Future World” as well.
