On tomorrow’s “Rocktober Halloween Spectacular”, “The Talk” hosts will face off in an epic lip-sync battle, performing hits from Madonna, Sia, and more.
The clip teases the hilarity to ensue, from Sharon Osbourne peeking from behind Sia’s iconic bangs to Sheryl Underwood patriotically clad from head-to-toe imitating James Brown. Viewers should expect to see Sarah Gilbert take on one of Celine Dion’s power ballads, Aisha Tyler work her best “Single Ladies” dance, and Julie Chen channel her inner “material girl.”
In addition to the preview, the five women discuss in this short video below why they chose the icons they are impersonating.
“I chose the song Chandelier by Sia because lyrically I think it’s so beautiful,” Sharon Osbourne said in the video. “The other reason is the dancers.”
Host Julie Chen chose to fulfill a childhood dream.
“I’ve wanted to be Chinese Madonna my whole life,” she said. “And today, my dream is coming true.”
With special guest host Joey Fatone to officiate, the five hosts will battle to win the audience’s vote. Fans at home will be able to vote for their favorites on Twitter by hashtagging #TeamJulie, #TeamAisha, #TeamSharon, #TeamSara or #TeamSheryl and tagging @TheTalkCBS. By doing so, they will be entered into “THE TALK Halloween Sweepstakes.”
