‘The View’ in Talks With Candace Cameron Bure and Paula Faris as Co-Hosts

Former “Full House” star and “GMA Weekend” host poised to join new co-hosts Raven-Symone and Michelle Collins

Candance Cameron Bure and Paula Faris will join “The View” as co-hosts, TheWrap has confirmed.

Both women have appeared multiple times on the daytime talk show as rotating guest hosts at the Hot Topics table, and will join the show permanently when it returns from hiatus in the fall.

Cameron Bure drew strong reactions recently during an appearance on the show when she defended an Oregon bakery that refused to provide a cake for a same-sex wedding ceremony.

The news comes after both Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez announced they would not return to the ABC daytime talk show. Wallace and Perez were added to a revamped co-host panel at the beginning of the current season, along with Rosie O’Donnell, who left the show in February, and returning moderator Whoopi Goldberg.

That lineup was introduced following the departures of co-creator Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy at the end of last season. Last month, Raven-Symone joined the panel full-time, along with comedian Michelle Collins.

TheWrap exclusively reported that Collins was being added as a full-time panelist.
