‘The View’ Hosts Battle Over Trump and Bloomberg’s ‘Yo Mama’ Twitter Fights (Video)

Meghan McCain and Joy Behar couldn’t agree to disagree on Michael Bloomberg

On Friday’s episode of “The View,” the co-hosts discussed the ongoing Twitter battle between President Donald Trump ad Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg, which Ana Navarro called a “New Yorker ‘yo mama’ contest in between rich white guys.”

“What do you think, Meghan?” asked Joy Behar, kicking off a back-and-forth any longtime “View”-er would have predicted would turn into a fight.

“I think there’s a lot of hubris going on that this is just going to be so easy for Bloomberg,” said Meghan McCain.

She laid out her reasoning — that Sen. Bernie Sanders and his anti-billionaire message are doing well in the primaries, yet Democrats are so quick to line up behind a billionaire like Bloomberg, who is spending money rapidly to attack the president — and said “it hasn’t gotten really dirty yet.”

Behar said the difference between the former New York City mayor and Trump is “Bloomberg made this money on his own,” whereas Trump inherited his. She did note she wasn’t “shilling” for Bloomberg.

“You kind of are,” McCain responded.

Behar admitted she likes Bloomberg “fine,” but similarly likes vice president Joe Biden and other candidates, then asserted she plans to vote for whichever person gets the Democratic nomination.

The battle continued, with each woman pointing out ways Bloomberg and Trump fail to appeal to different groups in America, but finally McCain said, “You know what, Joy? I’ve been right about election stuff and you’ve been wrong. Trust me on this.”
