“The menage a trois, it was almost like having sex with myself,” Behar joked

Joy Behar would like to make one thing clear about her claims that she’s had sex with ghosts: they’re “all true.” And apparently, Casper the friendly ghost isn’t as friendly as she’d have liked him to be.

During Thursday’s episode of “The View,” the women used some of their Hot Topics discussion to touch once again on the fact that there’s been an increase in reports of paranormal activity around the country. While some of the table was doubtful, host Sara Haines pointed out that Behar herself has had encounters — ones that she fully “embraced.”

“Let me just set the record straight, OK? It’s all true,” she joked. “It’s all true. I have had sex with ghosts. Casper was not a generous lover. The menage a trois, it was almost like having sex with myself. So yes, it’s true ladies and gentlemen.”

Behar’s comments come in response to headlines about her from last week, on the heels of a topic from last Thursday’s show, during which the hosts spotlighted the story of a woman who reported having “sexual ghosts” in her home.

As the discussion went on, host Sara Haines wondered aloud if someone could get pregnant after having sex with a ghost. “I’ve had sex with a few ghosts and never got pregnant,” Behar replied quietly, prompting the table to burst into laughter, but move on quickly. Whoopi noted that she was “just gonna let that ride.”

But this week, the hosts couldn’t resist poking fun at the fact that Behar’s claim actually made headlines. And as such, Behar wanted to go on record with the matter.

Behar then “encouraged” people to write more stories about it, as host Sunny Hostin marveled at the fact that her co-host’s passing comment “got such traction.”
