The women of ABC’s “The View” consoled One Direction fans on Wednesday, a day after news broke that singer Louis Tomlinson is going to have a baby with Briana Jungworth.
“Take one direction back, girls,” newest co-host Michelle Collins quipped of online haters. “They get very upset when these One Direction guys date women.”
She added: “He’s fertile, which is nice.”
The panel, which today included Angie Martinez filling in for Nicolle Wallace, then debated the merits of Tomlinson and his baby mama’s friends-with-benefits relationship. Girlfriend or not, the mother-to-be is now set for life financially, but better be ready for social media harassment, the women opined.
“I think for her it’s going to be hard because these fans come after her on Twitter,” Collins continued. “One Direction makes people crazy.”
“So, ladies, back off. There are still three others happy to impregnate you,” she concluded. “I say go for it.”
