‘This Is the End’ Crew Spends the Apocalypse on MTV’s ‘The Real World’ (Video)

Seth Rogen, James Franco and cast appear in MTV-approved "Real World" parody to promote their new movie hitting theaters on Wednesday

"The Real World: Portland" house is getting five famous new cast members during Wednesday's season finale.

Seth Rogen, James Franco, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson and Jay Baruchel will guest star on a parody of the long-running MTV reality series, with current cast members Averey-Lee Jane and Joi Niemeyer, which will air in four parts during commercial breaks to promote their new comedy, "This Is the End."

The Sony Pictures release tells the tale of six Hollywood actors (all playing themselves, with the addition of Jonah Hill and Craig Robinson) who face the apocalypse that strikes during a wild house party at Franco's Los Angeles home. Naturally, the MTV spoof is called "The Real World: 'This Is the End' Edition."

The creative crossover campaign will air on both MTV and MTV.com, while being supported through the network's social media platforms, Facebook, Twitter, and Tumblr.

Find out what happens when people stop being polite, and start facing the end of the world together. As fans of either Rogen's brand of comedy or the "Real World" franchise would expect, pants come off and the alcohol comes out.
