Ratings: ‘This Is Us’ Tops Another Tuesday in Demo, ‘NCIS’ Stays North of 12 Million Viewers

ABC and Fox end up in another tie

Another Tuesday, another primetime split for “This Is Us” and “NCIS” — and of course, for their home networks.

NBC was first in ratings with a 1.4 rating/7 share in the advertiser-coveted 18-49 demographic and second in total viewers with an average of 7.2 million, according to preliminary numbers. “The Voice” at 8 p.m. posted a 1.5/8 and 8.9 million viewers. At 9, “This Is Us” earned a 1.7/8 and 7.4 million viewers. “New Amsterdam” at 10 had a 0.9/4 and 5.3 million viewers.

CBS was second in ratings with a 1.0/5 and first in viewers with 9.5 million. “NCIS” at 8 landed a 1.3/6 and 12.2 million viewers. At 9, “FBI” got a 1.0/5 and 9.4 million viewers. “NCIS: New Orleans” at 10 received a 0.7/4 and 7 million viewers.

ABC and Fox tied for third in ratings, both with a 0.8/4. ABC was third in total viewers with 3.9 million, Fox was fourth with 3.4 million.

For ABC, “The Conners” at 8 put up a 1.1/6 and 5.5 million viewers. “Bless This Mess” at 8:30 had a 0.7/4 and 3.8 million viewers. At 9, “Mixed-ish” got a 0.7/4 and 3.5 million viewers. “Black-ish” at 9:30 received a 0.7/3 and 3.2 million viewers. At 10, “Emergence” closed out ABC’s primetime with a 0.6/3 and 3.6 million viewers.

For Fox, “The Resident” at 8 had a 0.7/4 and 3.8 million viewers. At 9, “Empire” got a 0.9/4 and 3 million viewers.

Univision and Telemundo tied for fifth in ratings, both with a 0.4/2. Univision was fifth in total viewers with 1.3 million, Telemundo was sixth with 1.1 million.

The CW was seventh in ratings with a 0.1/1 and in viewers with 461,000. “Pandora” at 8 had a 0.1/1 and 559,000 viewers. The “Pandora” season finale at 9 got a 0.1/0 and 364,000 viewers.
