Bec, you got something on your face there.
The first footage from Season 3 of “This Is Us” was released Friday, revealing more of how Jack (Milo Ventimiglia) and Rebecca (Mandy Moore) spent their very first date together. You know, the one that was teased way back in the NBC drama’s first season finale, “Moonshadow.”
And it looks like the two go on to have one of the cutest nights out in the history of on-screen couples after leaving that bar. A little taste of the romance comes when Jack helps his future wife get some candy apple of her face at a carnival.
The rest of the footage, which is interspersed with bits of the cast talking about the upcoming third season of the Dan Fogelman-created series, shows Kate (Chrissy Metz) and her new husband Toby (Chris Sullivan) talking about trying for another baby after her miscarriage last season; Beth (Susan Kelechi Watson) and Randall (Sterling K. Brown) working to welcome foster daughter Deja (Lyric Ross) into their family; Kevin (Justin Hartley) and Beth’s cousin Zoe (Melanie Liburd) embarking on a romance after their meet-cute on the Season 2 finale; and previews what’s to come when we venture back into the Vietnam War with a young Jack.
Oh, and we almost forgot: Brown promised you are going to find out who the “her” from the Season 2 finale flashforward is.
