If you don’t have a job, you’ve gotta have hobbies.

The now-former “Criminal Minds” star Thomas Gibson posted a happy photo on his official Instagram account Wednesday afternoon, showing him driving a boat while clutching his tiny dog Hazel.

Gibson captioned: “Hazel and I both looking forward to what’s down the road…”

In the reflection of his aviator sunglasses, you can see who are probably Gibson’s two sons. OK, we’ve officially looked into this too much.

Here’s the photo:

Gibson was fired Friday from the CBS procedural after kicking writer-producer Virgil Williams in the leg. The two had what Gibson called a “creative dispute” during an episode that the actor was also directing. Gibson says Williams first became “aggressive” with him.

A day earlier, news that Gibson had been suspended for two weeks following the incident surfaced. Unfortunately for the “Dharma & Greg” alum, the altercation was not his first indiscretion in recent years — it was more of a final straw. Readers can find a timeline here of how the Gibson firing from “Criminal Minds” came to be.

“Criminal Minds” returns to CBS for Season 12 on September 28 at 9/8c. It will do so without both Gibson and Shemar Moore, who left the show at the end of Season 11.
